2026 Strade Bianche start list - Tadej Pogacar to make history?
The 2026 Strade Bianche begins and concludes in Siena on March 7. Tadej Pogacar lines up for his first race of his 2026 season, as he attempts to etch himself into the Strade Bianche history book, to become the record winner of the race.

In total, there are 25 teams on the start list, each fielding 7 riders, resulting in a total field of 175 riders.
All 18 WorldTour teams feature, alongside 4 ProTeams. The 7 ProTeams are Bardiani CSF 7 Saber, Pinarello-Q36.5, Unibet Rose Rockets, Solution Tech NIPPO Rali, Tudor Pro Cycling, Team Polti VisitMalta and MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort.
Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) headlines the start list as the Slovenian is on a charge to take a record fourth Strade Bianche.
Pogacar's nearest competitors are Paul Sexias (Decathlon CMA CGM), who comes into Strade after taking a first professional victory on stage 2 of the Volta ao Algarve, Tom Pidcock (Pinarello-Q36.5), who finished second in the 2025 edition behind Pogacar, and Wout van Aert (Visma | Lease a Bike), the winner of the 2020 edition.
Other riders on the star-studded start list in Tuscany are Quinn Simmons (Lidl-Trek), Tobias Halland Johanessen (Uno-X Mobility) and Romain Gregoire (Groupama-FDJ United), who took a victory at the Faun Drome Classic.
