2026 UAE Tour Women start list: Who can stop Wiebes in the sprints and Longo Borghini on Jebel Hafeet?

The fourth edition of the UAE Tour Women begins in Al Mirfa on February 5 and finishes atop Jebel Hafeet on February 8. Defending champion Elisa Longo Borghini returns to defend her title and could win a third edition out of four overall. Stage wins record holder Lorena Wiebes will be the rider to beat in the sprints. In total, twenty teams are on the start list, each featuring six riders with the exception of one team (Hitec Products-Fluid Control), who field five riders, resulting in a total peloton of 119 riders.

All fourteen Women’s WorldTour teams feature, and they are joined by three ProTeams and three Continental teams.

The three ProTeams are VolkerWessel, St Michel-Preference Home-Auber93 and Cofidis. Meanwhile, the three Continental teams are Vini Fantini-BePink, Hitec Products-Fluid Control and Top Girls Fassa Bortolo.

The defending champion, Elisa Longo Borghini (UAE Team ADQ), returns, aiming to win a third overall title, and will face competition from the likes of Kasia Niewiadoma Phinney (Canyon//Sram Zondacrypto), Kim Le Court (AG Insurance-Soudal), Anna van der Breggen (SD Worx-Protime) and Marlen Reusser (Movistar). Meanwhile, Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime) headlines the sprints.
