2026 Volta Comunitat Valenciana start list - Evenepoel headlines star studded startlist

The 77th edition of the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana takes place from February 4-8, beginning in Segorbe and concluding in Valencia. Read on for the complete start list of the 2026 Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana.

In total, eighteen teams will take to the start line of the 2026 Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, each fielding seven riders, resulting in a total field of 126 riders.

Nine WorldTour teams will take to the start list, including Bahrain-Victorious, Ineos Grenadiers, Lidl-Trek, Movistar, NSN, Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, Soudal Quick-Step, UAE Team Emirates-XRG, and Uno-X Mobility.

In total, seven ProTour teams will feature. Those teams include four Spanish teams: Burgos Burpellet BH, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Euskaltel-Euskadi, and Equipo Kern Pharma, and two Italian sides, Polti VisitMalta, and Solution Tech NIPPO Rali. 

Two continental teams will also line up, those being the Mexican team, Petrolike, and the American team, APS Pro Cycling by Team Cadence Cyclery.

Remco Evenepoel (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) headlines the start list after making a perfect start to life at the German team with three victories from three starts at the Challenge Mallorca series. The Olympic champion finished runner-up here in his only previous participation. 

João Almeida (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), who finished runner-up last year, will begin his preparations for the Giro d'Italia at this race. Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) is also set to kick off his 2026 season at the Volta Comunitat Valencia
