Adidas expands WorldTour presence with Alpecin-Premier Tech partnership
For the remainder of the 2026 season and beyond, riders and support staff across the men's and women's squads will wear a bespoke range of Adidas sportswear, training wear, footwear and leisurewear. Meanwhile, the Belgian team have unveiled their 2026 Merci Poupou jersey for the second rest day of the Tour de France.

Adidas deal
Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech have announced a new multi-year partnership with Adidas that will see the German sportswear giant provide off-bike apparel to both WorldTour teams.
The collection is centred around Adidas' ZNE range with embroidered team branding and a relaxed, comfort-focused design.
"We believe the strongest partnerships are built on shared ambition," said Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech general manager Philip Roodhooft in a statement released on Monday during the second rest day of the Tour de France.
Adidas already has a presence in the WorldTour through its multi-year partnership with Netcompany-Ineos, announced in June 2025. Meanwhile, rival sportswear brand Nike has supplied Team Visma | Lease a Bike's off-bike apparel since the start of the 2025 Tour de France.
"Adidas is one of the world's most iconic sports brands, with a legacy of innovation and excellence that speaks for itself," added Roodhooft.
"We are proud to welcome Adidas as a partner and excited to become part of the Adidas family. Together, we look forward to building a long-term partnership that helps our athletes maximise their potential every single day."
Adidas' GM of specialist sports, Kerryn Foster, said the company was looking forward to supporting two teams that continue to make their mark at the highest level of the sport.
"We are excited to partner with both the Alpecin-Premier Tech and Fenix-Premier Tech cycling teams, and proud to see the brand represented by two teams growing in confidence on the international circuit, with a shining light on their world-class cyclists such as Mathieu van der Poel, Jasper Philipsen, Charlotte Kool and Puck Pieterse," Foster said.
2026 Merci Poupou jersey
To coincide with the Tour de France's second rest day, Alpecin-Premier Tech has also revealed its 2026 Merci Poupou jersey.
The special edition design, inspired by the Miko-Mercier-Hutchinson jersey worn by Raymond Poulidor in 1977, will be worn during the team's annual Merci Poupou coffee ride.
"Merci Poupou reflects the values Raymond Poulidor stood for: passion, perseverance and generosity. Thanks to the incredible support of our riders, partners and fans, the initiative has already raised more than €600,000 since 2021," explained Roodhooft.
"We're proud of what we've achieved together and hope this year's campaign will once again inspire people to support these important causes."
