Alpecin-Premier Tech top of the fines table after 15 stages of the Tour de France

The team has been fined a total of 2,200 CHF, with all penalties involving members of its sports management. Assistant sports director Frederik Willems was fined 1,000 CHF after a rider twice disposed of waste outside the designated litter zones during stage 7. 

Christoph Roodhooft has added another 1,200 CHF, split between a 700 CHF fine on stage 5 for breaching regulations concerning vehicle movements and failing to follow instructions from the organisers or commissaires, and a further 500 CHF fine and a yellow card on stage 8 for a repeat vehicle movement infraction.

Decathlon CMA CGM sit second on 2,100 CHF, with the majority of the fines coming on stage 14 to Le Markstein. Nicolas Prodhomme was fined 200 CHF twice for a sticky bottle, with sports director Julien Jurdie fined 500 CHF twice for the same infractions. Decathlon CMA CGM had also picked up 700 CHF in the opening week from Daan Hoole and sports director Luke Rowe's stage 3 sticky bottle.

Uno-X Mobility sit third on 1,500 CHF, with both penalties coming on stage 10 to Ussel. Tobias Halland Johannessen was fined 500 CHF and given a 20-second time penalty for receiving an unauthorised feed inside the final 15km, while sports director Gabriel Rasch was fined 1,000 CHF for the same incident.

UAE Team Emirates-XRG and Lotto-Intermarché are level on 1,200 CHF, with Bahrain Victorious on 1,000 CHF. Groupama-FDJ United sit on 700 CHF, Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe on 600 CHF, and Cofidis and Soudal Quick-Step round out the fined teams on 200 CHF each.

Across the 15 stages so far, the race jury has handed out a total of 10,900 CHF in financial penalties. Ten teams have received at least one fine.
