Tudor lock down three key riders with new long term deals

Brenner committed his future to Tudor through the end of 2030 earlier this week, just days after claiming the biggest victory of his career at the Tour de Pologne.

The team has now confirmed that experienced duo Haller and Trentin will also remain on board, with both extending their contracts through the end of the 2028 season.

For Haller, the new deal will take him through the final two years of his professional career. The 35-year-old Austrian has confirmed that he intends to retire when his contract expires at the end of 2028.

“Even after all those years in the pro ranks, I still feel the excitement of signing a new contract,” Haller said in a team statement.

“I could not wish for a better Team and environment to continue my career and head into my final two years as a professional cyclist. It fills me with pride and humility to be given this level of trust by the Team.”

Haller also highlighted the role he hopes to play in helping Tudor's younger riders develop.

“I look forward to passing on my experience to the next generation of riders on the Team and working hard to be the best version of the rider I can be.”

Trentin, meanwhile, will continue with Tudor until the age of 39 after also agreeing a two year extension.

The Italian joined Tudor in 2024 after spells with teams including Quick Step, Mitchelton Scott and UAE Team Emirates. A former European champion and multiple Grand Tour stage winner, Trentin has since combined his own racing ambitions with an important role as road captain within the team.

“It is great to see the development and growth of the Team, and I’m delighted to renew my contract for another two years,” Trentin said.

“My main goal is to be competitive at the highest level, continue achieving results and, of course, share my experience and tactical knowledge with my younger teammates.”

Haller and Trentin both turned professional in 2012 and have almost 30 seasons in the professional peloton between them.

“Both Marco and Matteo bring invaluable experience, race intelligence, and consistency to the team,” said Tudor CEO and co owner Raphael Meyer.

“We are delighted to have them on board for another two years, as contenders in the Classics, sprinting from reduced groups, and sharing their wealth of knowledge with the next generation of riders.”

Their extensions come just two days after Tudor announced a much longer commitment with Brenner.

The 23-year-old German signed through the end of 2030 after securing the first WorldTour and general classification victories of his career at the Tour de Pologne.

Brenner sealed overall victory in Poland in the final stage individual time trial, jumping from fourth to first overall and becoming the first German winner of the race since Jens Voigt in 2008.

“I am really happy to extend my contract and continue my journey with Tudor Pro Cycling,” Brenner said after his renewal was announced.

“When I joined the Team in 2024, I found a nice environment that allowed me to perform and find joy.”

Brenner joined Tudor from Team dsm firmenich in 2024 and quickly established himself as one of the team's most promising riders, winning a stage at the Coppi e Bartali and becoming German road race champion during his first season.

His 2025 campaign was disrupted by a serious crash on stage 19 of the Giro d’Italia, which kept him out of competition for more than three months, but his victory in Poland underlined his return to the highest level.
