Castelli's scorpion logo returns to Tour de France jersey in new 2027 sponsorship deal
Italian brand will produce all of ASO's race leaders jerseys as part of a new six-year agreement.

Castelli will replace Santini as the official partner of the Tour de France and ASO's many other races, with the Italian brand's scorpion logo back on the yellow jersey for the first time since 1994.
Castelli will design and produce all the official classification jerseys for the 2027 Tour de France, Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, and all of ASO's other 25 races, including the Vuelta a España, and mass-participation events such as the Etape du Tour and the Paris-Roubaix Challenge.
The Castelli version of the Tour de France yellow jersey will be revealed at the 2027 Tour de France route presentation in Paris on October 22, with the green, polka-dot, and white young jerseys designs revealed at a later date. Castelli have created some modern variations of jersey designs over the years and it will be fascinating to see how far ASO allows the brand to change the leaders' jerseys, especially the yellow jersey.
Castelli announced the new deal in a video that recalled the brand's links to the Tour between 1989 to 1994, with vintage footage of Greg LeMond, Miguel Indurain, Claudio Chiappucci and other riders pulling on the Castelli-made leader's jersey at the Tour.
The brand celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2026 and in recent years has produced the leader's jerseys for the Giro d'Italia and for the Suyodal-QuickStep team. Castelli is part of the Manifattura Valcismon company, which also creates the Sportful brand of clothing and the outdoor Karpos brand.
Santini was ASO's partner for the last five years, with the likes of Le Coq Sportif, Giordana and even Nike also producing the leader's jerseys in the past.
"This is a truly historic moment in Castelli’s 150-year history," Global Brand Manager Steve Smith said.
"For a global cycling brand, producing the Maillot Jaune of the Tour de France is the greatest honour there is, not to mention the jerseys for other major races such as Paris-Nice and La Vuelta.
"Returning to the Tour de France feels like coming home. We are incredibly proud of our heritage at the race, but even more excited about helping shape its future by equipping the next generation of champions with apparel that pushes the boundaries of speed, comfort and style."
