Decathlon CMA CGM target 2026 Tour de France green jersey with Kooij
Dutch sprinter Olav Kooij will make his Tour de France debut in summer 2026 as Decathlon CMA CGM's designated leader for the green jersey competition, the team announced during their presentation in Lille on Thursday. Whilst the team also has some other ambitious goals for the forthcoming season.

"We have the ambition to go for the green jersey in the Tour with Olav Kooij," said team CEO Dominique Serieys, who unveiled bold plans following the arrival of shipping giant CMA CGM as a new title sponsor from 2026.
The former Visma | Lease a Bike sprinter's Tour debut forms part of a wider strategy for the French squad, which is targeting significant results across all major races.
"We are very proud of the results, these are not small matters. After two years of building and consolidating, we are now entering a new era. We have a clear ambition, but we must remain humble. We must maintain ourselves in the top five in the world, in all areas," Serieys told media at the presentation.
Beyond Kooij's green jersey ambitions, the team has outlined specific goals for cycling's most prestigious races, with particular focus on the spring classics.
"The five monuments are the most important pillar of our team, we're aiming for top five in Paris-Roubaix and a victory in one of the five monuments," Serieys continued. "We also have great ambitions in the grand tours. We're going for top five in the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España with Felix Gall and Matthew Riccitello."
Decathlon CMA CGM also revealed its updated kit design for the upcoming season. While retaining their distinctive green-blue colour scheme from last season, the jersey now features an additional red glow across the chest area.
The partnership with CMA CGM, a major multinational in overseas transport, represents a significant investment that will help fund the team's lofty ambitions across the cycling calendar.
