Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe have confirmed their squad for Il Lombardia on Saturday, with Remco Evenepoel and Primož Roglič set to line up for the first time as teammates this season.

Roglič, the recently crowned European time trial champion, and Evenepoel, who became the road race champion, have not started a race together as Red Bull teammates since the latter joined the German team at the start of the season.

For Evenepoel, the race of the falling leaves marks an opportunity to show off his new European jersey as he aims to win his first Monument since Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2023.

The European and Olympic champion finished runner-up in Lombardy in both 2024 and 2025 behind Pogačar.

With the Slovenian absent this time around, Evenepoel is one of the main contenders looking to step onto the vacant top step of the podium that has been occupied by Pogačar for the last half-decade.

Meanwhile, after bouncing back from being hit by a car while training in July, Roglič’s late-season renaissance continues with the 36-year-old selected for his eighth start at the Autumn Monument.

Buoyed after winning the European time trial title in front of his home fans in Slovenia on Wednesday, Roglič will return to a race where he finished third in 2023 and fourth in 2024.

He was also the team's highest-placed finisher in Bergamo twelve months ago, finishing in 22nd place.

The star-studded duo are also set to be joined by Jai Hindley, the former Giro d’Italia winner, who so often seems to shine bright when racing on Italian soil, as well as Giulio Pellizzari, who is in line for his third appearance in Lombardy.

Rounding out the Red Bull squad is the Italian trio of Giovanni Aleotti, Mattia Cattaneo and Gianni Moscon, with the latter being a former third-place finisher back in 2017.
