Evenepoel, Pogacar, Vingegaard: head-to-head in the last 10 time trials
Here is an overview of the last 10 time trials where at least two of the three went head-to-head. See who was fastest and in which race, the time differences and the positions they finished in each time trial overall.

Remco Evenepoel, Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard have only all featured on the start line of an individual time trial three times in the past. Coincidentally those three are the last occasions any of them have met in the race of truth, giving us a great idea of their form ahead of today's crucial, 33km test in Caen.
In the last ten head-to-heads between at least two of the three, Evenepoel has only been beaten once, that was the final stage of least year's Tour de France, where Pogačar claimed his sixth stage win of that race, his third in a row and a third overall win.
Evenepoel's performances in stage 7 of the 2024 Tour de France, and stage 4 of the 2025 Critérium du Dauphiné illustrate that he is comfortably the man to beat on a time trial bike right now and this is only further exemplified by the fact he is the current Olympic and World Champion in the discipline.
Pogačar and Vingegaard are much closer in their TT encounters, both featuring six times together in the list. The head-to-head score is 3-3, each getting the better of one another in equal measures. Since the start of the 2022 season which is where our list starts, both have won time trials in the yellow jersey at the Tour de France, Pogačar in 2024 on stage 21 last year, and Vingegaard in 2023 on stage 16.
It's fair to say that Pogačar and Vingegaard are neck and neck in the time trial discpline, both being able to take centre stage when required at the biggest moments at the Tour de France, but Remco Evenepoel rightly has the pedrigree to be considered the best in the business right now ahead of stage 5's individual time trial which you can find more about here.
