Ferrand-Prévot in talks to extend Visma contract beyond 2027
Tour de France Femmes champion Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has revealed she is in talks to extend her contract with Visma | Lease a Bike beyond its current 2027 expiry date.

"I would like to stay with Visma | Lease a Bike because I feel good there; I am fulfilled and able to perform," the 33-year-old Frenchwoman told French publication Ouest-France in a recent interview.
Ferrand-Prévot, who claimed both the Tour de France Femmes and Paris-Roubaix titles in 2025, had previously hinted that the 2027 World Championships in France might mark a fitting conclusion to her career, as she pondered retirement from professional cycling at that point.
The Reims native returned to road racing after dominating mountain biking, where she captured the Olympic gold medal at Paris 2024. Just one year later, she triumphed to win the Tour de France Femmes ahead of Demi Vollering, along with a dominant ride at Paris-Roubaix Femmes, where the Queen of French cycling truly announced to the world that she was back.
Following those historic victories, she described the 2027 Worlds as “a beautiful end-of-career objective” and explained: “I've already thought about it. Finishing there could be extraordinary.” With the Championships being held on home soil, there truly wouldn’t be a more fitting way for her to bow out.
However, Ferrand-Prévot now admits her perspective has shifted. “I thought so,” she said. “But I tell myself it’s better to see how far I can go, and not set a deadline, ultimately.”
While the 2027 World Championships in the Alps remain a primary target, Ferrand-Prévot confirmed she is looking beyond that horizon.
“It will be the objective for these next few years. But I have other ideas in mind. We’re discussing with the team to see how to do this, to continue my contract beyond that,” she revealed.
The multi-discipline star’s current deal with the Dutch outfit runs until the end of the 2027 season, by which time she will be 35 years old.
