How to watch 2026 UCI Cyclocross World Championships Hulst: Streaming and TV by country

The elite races in Hulst come with two very different storylines. In the men’s race, Mathieu van der Poel arrives as the overwhelming favourite and one win away from a record breaking eighth elite world title. 

With his recent form suggesting he is operating on another level, the fight behind him looks set to be for silver and bronze, with Tibor Del Grosso, Thibau Nys and Niels Vandeputte among the most likely to feature if the race follows the expected script.

The women’s race is far more open. With Fem van Empel stepping away, there will be a new elite world champion for the first time in several years, and it shifts the spotlight to a Dutch heavy battle led by Lucinda Brand and a fast rising Puck Pieterse, with Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado also in the mix. 

Add in riders like Amandine Fouquenet, Zoe Bäckstedt and Marie Schreiber and the podium picture feels wide enough to change lap by lap, which sets the scene perfectly for a weekend where timing, traction and nerves will decide everything.
