Is Wout van Aert showing the next stage of broadcasting?
Wout van Aert has given cycling fans a unique first-person perspective of Paris-Roubaix's cobbled sectors through footage captured during a reconnaissance ride using Oakley Meta smart glasses.

The Belgian star and his Visma | Lease a Bike teammates completed nearly 100 kilometres of testing last week across the pavé sections that make the Hell of the North one of cycling's most demanding races.
Van Aert, known for sharing weekly photo collections on Instagram, took his social media content to another level by filming sections of the reconnaissance through the wearable technology.
The footage provides a rare rider's eye view of the infamous cobblestones that define the Spring Classic and underlines just how harsh the pavé is, and how much control it takes to keep the bike running straight over the stones.
Ever wondered what it feels like to be 🇧🇪 Wout van Aert on the cobbles of 🇫🇷 Paris-Roubaix?
