Live recap: Tour de France 2025 - Stage 7 - Pogacar takes the win on the Mûr-de-Bretagne!
Stage 7 of the 2025 Tour de France takes the riders on a 197-kilometre journey from Saint-Malo to Mûr-de-Bretagne Guerlédan. With more than 2400 metres of climbing, it promises to be a demanding day in the saddle. The decisive point? The return of the Mûr de Bretagne - tackled twice in the final 20 kilometres, with the summit marking the finish line. Expect attacks on a climb where Van der Poel triumphed in 2021. Riders roll out at 12:25 CET, with the finish expected around 16:39 CET.

A scorching day in Brittany, with the stage set to finish atop the iconic Mûr-de-Bretagne after 2.418 meters of elevation. The organizers never miss a chance to include this iconic climb. Are we set for a GC showdown just before the upcoming calm of the weekend? Read more of our stage preview.
Pogacar is the top favourite for the finish on the Mûr-de-Bretagne, especially if UAE control the race and set a hard pace. A reduced sprint among GC contenders seems most likely. Late attacks could still work, with riders like Vauquelin, Jorgenson, Onley, Grégoire or Almeida as outsiders. And the big question is how Mathieu van der Poel will feel after yesterday's efforts.
