Pidcock reunion for Pinarello as the brand becomes title sponsor of Q36.5
Italian bike manufacturer Pinarello will become a title sponsor of Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team from January 1, 2026, the first title partnership in the brand’s 73 year history. The team will race as Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, uniting two Italian performance brands and bringing Tom Pidcock back onto Pinarello bikes for road racing.

"This partnership is more than a sponsorship – it's a shared vision," said Fausto Pinarello, President of Cicli Pinarello. "We're proud to take this step and bring the Pinarello name back to the front of the peloton as Title Sponsor. Together with Q36.5, we'll continue to push the boundaries of what's possible in cycling."
The announcement marks a major milestone for both sides. For Pinarello, Q36.5 joins a portfolio that already includes the Ineos Grenadiers. Pinarello bikes have played a central role in Tour de France victories since 1988, with dominant runs in the 1990s and during the Sky and Ineos era.
For Pidcock, the partnership completes a full circle. The British rider has continued to use Pinarello bikes in mountain bike and cyclocross events while racing Scott bikes on the road for Q36.5 this season.
"I'm really happy to be back on Pinarello full time. It genuinely feels like coming home. I've always loved riding their bikes, and over the years I've built such a strong relationship with the brand. It's the perfect reunion," said Pidcock.
His past successes on Pinarello include a Tour de France stage win on Alpe d’Huez in 2022 and victory at Amstel Gold Race in 2024. This season he secured his first Grand Tour podium with third place at the Vuelta a España while riding for Q36.5.
Douglas Ryder, General Manager of Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, sees the new partnership as a defining step for the squad. "Having Pinarello as Title Sponsor is a huge honour. Their history, passion and technical excellence will elevate our riders, and our ambitions, for the coming seasons."
Q36.5 has significantly bolstered its roster for 2026, adding multiple Grand Tour stage winner Eddie Dunbar, British talent Fred Wright and several other strong recruits in what has been a busy transfer period. Pidcock remains central to the team’s success, contributing five of their 14 wins this year, including the overall victory at the Alula Tour.
Like the Ineos Grenadiers, the new Pinarello-Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team will compete on Pinarello Dogma F and Bolide TT bikes, featuring designs that reflect both brands' identities.
Luigi Bergamo, CEO and head of product development at Q36.5, emphasised the team's growth trajectory: "2026 will be another very big step forward, with the young riders who've been with us from the beginning maturing into winners, a Grand Tour podium under our belt, great new riders joining the squad, and of course, finally, our friends at Pinarello joining the project and helping take it to another level. Our ambitions are sky-high."
