Andorra will host the first edition of the Andorra Cycling Masters on October 19, bringing together Tadej Pogačar, Jonas Vingegaard, Primož Roglič and Isaac Del Toro for a unique end-of-season showdown in the Principality.

The format features two races held on the same day. The riders will first tackle an eight kilometre uphill time trial on the Coll de la Gallina, followed by a 32 kilometre urban race through Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany. The circuit, designed for repeated viewing, allows spectators to watch the quartet pass through the city centre multiple times.

The man behind the concept is organiser David Quintana, who outlined the idea in conversation with Sporza. “We want four top-level riders to race against each other without the support of their teams,” he said. “This way, fans can see every year who the champion of champions really is.”

Pogačar arrives as the newly crowned world road race champion and four-time Tour de France winner. He will line up against familiar rivals Vingegaard and Roglič, both Grand Tour champions, along with rising star Del Toro, who enjoyed a breakout season in 2025.

According to Sporza, the event will also be accompanied by a documentary scheduled for release later this year. Viewers will get a look behind the scenes, offering insight into the riders beyond the race itself. Andorra, already home to many professional cyclists, hopes the initiative will further strengthen its status as a leading destination for the sport.
