Red Bull announce Evenepoel-led squad for Liège-Bastogne-Liège as Amstel winner targets hat-trick
Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe have confirmed their line-up for the 112th edition of Liège-Bastogne-Liège as two-time winner Remco Evenepoel looks to complete a hat-trick of victories.

Remco Evenepoel, fresh off winning the Amstel Gold Race, will be backed by a strong Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe team at Liège-Bastogne-Liège in his first outing at La Doyenne with the German team.
Making up the squad, Jan Tratnik, Daniel Felipe Martínez, Nico Denz, Haimar Etxeberria, Finn Fisher-Black, and Jai Hindley share 51 Monument starts between them, adding to Evenepoel’s 9, illustrating the experience of the team.
Of the six riders who supported Evenepoel to victory at the Amstel Gold Race last Sunday, Tratnik, Denz and Etxeberria feature in the squad for Liège.
Tratnik was key in setting up Evenepoel’s success at Amstel, and the powerful Slovenian will once more have an important role in supporting the Olympic champion’s bid for glory.
Martínez has enjoyed a strong ride at Paris-Nice, finishing 2nd overall behind Jonas Vingegaard. Since then, the Colombian has raced just once, at Flèche Wallonne, finishing 51st. However, with five La Doyenne’s under his belt, including 4th place in 2022 and 7th last year, Martínez could be a key lieutenant for Evenepoel as the race grows old.
No rider in the team has started more Monuments than the 15 that the 32-year-old German Denz has. Despite the wealth of Monument experience, the three-time Giro d’Italia stage winner is set to make his Liège debut, the final Monument he has yet to ride.
Etxeberria is a unique edition in the squad as the 22-year-old Spanish rider is set to make his Monument debut. Etxeberria joined the team from Equipo Kern Pharma for 2026, and has raced both Amstel and Flèche, and with Liège will have started the Ardennes triple in his debut season at the WorldTour level.
24-year-old Kiwi, Fisher-Black, lines up for his second Liège, having most recently ridden in Flèche. It’s Fisher-Black’s second Monument of the season, following Milan-Sanremo, and the Kiwi has ridden alongside Evenepoel already this season at the UAE Tour.
Rounding out the squad is former Giro d’Italia winner Hindley. The 29-year-old Australian has ridden Liège three times previously and raced with Evenepoel at the Volta a Catalunya.
