Standings: Tour de France stage 21 - Wout van Aert saves best for last on Montmartre

Wout van Aert (Visma | Lease a Bike) won stage 21 of the Tour de France on the Champs-Élysées after he dropped Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) on the final ascent of Montmartre on a rain-soaked finishing circuit. Van Aert became the first and only rider on this Tour to drop Pogacar on a climb. He came home 19 seconds ahead of Davide Ballerini (XDS-Astana) and Matej Mohoric (Bahrain Victorious). Pogacar rolled home in fourth to seal final overall victory.
