Start times & order Tour de Suisse 2026 Stage 4 Individual Time Trial
Stage 4 of the Tour de Suisse 2026 brings an important individual time trial in Aarburg, where the general classification contenders will battle against the clock. Below you can find the start times and order of the stage.
Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) will be the final rider to start after retaining the yellow jersey on stage 3. The UAE Team Emirates-XRG leader begins his effort at 17:02 CET, one minute after Richard Carapaz (EF Education-EasyPost), who currently sits second overall at 2:50.
The 23.7 kilometre course is expected to favour the pure specialists. An intermediate time check comes after 10 kilometres, while the route itself offers few major complications. There are some more technical sections around the middle of the course, but the closing kilometres are flat, straight and built for sustained speed.
The remaining riders in the top five will also occupy the final positions in the starting order. Andrea Bagioli (Lidl-Trek) starts at 17:00, Mathias Vacek (Lidl-Trek) at 16:59 and Finlay Pickering (Jayco AlUla) at 16:58, while Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), Ilan Van Wilder (Soudal Quick-Step) and Wilco Kelderman (Visma | Lease a Bike) will set off just before them.
Primož Roglič (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) starts at 16:48 as he looks to recover time after slipping to 16th overall, 6:25 behind Pogačar. Stage 3 winner Jhonatan Narváez (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) begins at 16:54, while Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Premier Tech) starts at 16:10 and Alec Segaert (Bahrain Victorious) rolls down the ramp at 15:39.
The time trial begins at 14:57 CET, with Marco Brenner (Tudor) the first rider to start. Riders will depart at one minute intervals before race leader Pogačar closes the running order.
