Team Novo Nordisk open 2026 kit-launch season
Team Novo Nordisk have become the first squad to reveal their colours for 2026, releasing a revised blue-and-green kit as they mark an early start to the annual wave of design unveilings across the peloton.

The announcement arrived via a short social-media video that, despite being the centrepiece of the launch, offered only brief and obscured views of the new jersey. The team described the design as “a design that embodies our ongoing commitment to driving change in diabetes and our deepened collaboration with Novo Nordisk,” though the presentation left much of the detail to the viewer’s imagination.
The reveal tied into the news that their partnership with Novo Nordisk has been extended through to 2031. “Team Novo Nordisk embodies the belief that people living with diabetes can accomplish anything,” said CEO and co-founder Phil Southerland.
Novo Nordisk senior vice-president Elin Jäger said the updated agreement “reaffirms our long-term commitment to driving change for people living with diabetes.”

While the squad operate well outside cycling’s top tier, their early reveal effectively signals the start of the off-season carousel of kit launches, with WorldTour teams expected to follow in the coming weeks.
For now, Novo Nordisk’s announcement serves as a modest opening note, and, given the limited glimpses offered so far, one that may prompt fans to wait for clearer views elsewhere once the bigger teams begin to roll out their designs.
