The 2026 Tour de France in miles

Professional cycling may be steeped in European tradition, but fans in the UK, the US and beyond often experience the sport in miles rather than kilometres. While the peloton remains firmly committed to the metric system, we have converted every stage of the 2026 Tour de France.

The 2026 Tour de France will cover 3,333 kilometres, or approximately 2,071 miles, across three demanding weeks of racing. Each stage presents its own terrain and tactical challenges, but the total distance underlines the endurance required to complete cycling’s most prestigious race.
