Tudor Pro Cycling eye Grand Tour glory as full WorldTour access transforms team operations
Tudor Pro Cycling Team are setting their sights on a breakthrough Grand Tour stage victory whilst building stability through full WorldTour access for the 2026 season.

Swiss cycling legend Fabian Cancellara, who leads the team's management, has outlined ambitious yet realistic goals as they prepare for Tudor's most significant campaign to date, with their inaugural appearance at La Vuelta a España marking a pivotal moment in the squad's development.
The team showed promising form in 2025, with Michael Storer's overall victory at the Tour of the Alps standing as their biggest achievement along with the Aussie's third place at Il Lombardia. Yet Cancellara believes the squad is capable of stepping up to the ultimate prize in professional cycling.
"Winning a stage in a Grand Tour would be fantastic. We've been very close in the last two years. In addition, we want to lay the foundations for the next decade and settle into the next phase of the WorldTour," Cancellara stated to Marca.
Full access to WorldTour events has fundamentally altered how the team operates, bringing much-needed stability after years of uncertainty at ProTeam level. Gone are the days of scrambling for race invitations and last-minute staffing decisions.
"Full access to the WorldTour means, above all, security and clarity in planning. We can act in advance, reserve resources, assign staff and avoid situations such as arriving in August and realising that we need extra people, said Cancellara regarding planning.
"With the cyclists, we can define the complete calendar from the beginning of the season. Last year, at this point, we didn't know what the second part of the year would be like, or even which races would be held in April. That generated a lot of uncertainty. Now the calendar is clear and that gives peace of mind,"
Twelve months ago, Tudor were still operating in limbo, uncertain which races they would receive invitations to and unable to plan beyond the spring classics. That unpredictability made it nearly impossible to build momentum or develop long-term strategies with riders.
Now, with guaranteed access to all WorldTour events, the ProTeam can map out the entire season from January through October, allowing riders to peak for specific targets and staff to be allocated efficiently across multiple race programmes.
