Video: Close call for Paul Seixas as he narrowly avoids collision with race vehicle
Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM) had a frightening moment during stage two of the Tour de France when he came close to being hit by an official race vehicle.

The 19-year-old Frenchman was chasing back after suffering a puncture when the incident happened. As he tried to pass the organisation car on the left, the vehicle suddenly moved in the same direction. Just ahead, a TotalEnergies team car had stopped to assist one of its riders, forcing the official car to brake and swerve.
Seixas reacted quickly and managed to avoid contact. He briefly showed his frustration with a gesture, but immediately continued his effort to rejoin the bunch. Not long after, he made it safely back to the peloton.
The scare did not appear to affect him for long. On the first ascent of Montjuïc, Seixas was already visible near the front again.
