To watch the entire decisive part of the stage, tune in from around 14:30 CEST. The riders are expected to reach the summit of the Col du Galibier between 14:43 and 15:11.
The Galibier is followed by a long descent towards the foot of the Col de Sarenne. The final climb should begin between 15:20 and 15:51, with the summit expected between 15:51 and 16:28.
The stage winner is expected to cross the line on Alpe d’Huez between 16:11 and 16:50.
Those wanting to follow the battle for the breakaway should watch from the start. The road begins rising almost immediately, with the 24 kilometre Col de la Croix de Fer coming inside the opening 34 kilometres. That could produce an aggressive opening as climbers attempt to join the day’s breakaway.
