Privacy Policy Skoda Race Radio
This Privacy Policy applies to the Skoda Race Radio mobile application (the “Application”), provided by Domestique Cycling (the “Service Provider”) as a freemium service. The Application is provided on an “as is” basis.
Information collection and use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device’s Internet Protocol address (for example, IP address)
- The pages or screens of the Application you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
- The total time you spend using the Application
- The operating system on your mobile device
Location data
The Application may collect your device’s location data. Skoda uses location data to help ensure that live audio updates are delivered reliably and without interruption.
Background location access is required to keep live race coverage active, even when the Application is not open on your screen. This enables the Application to maintain and restore the live audio experience during a session, improve delivery stability, and reduce disruptions.
Location data may also be used in aggregated and anonymised form to analyse usage, identify trends, and improve the overall performance and functionality of the Application.
The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time with important information, required notices, and marketing communications.
To provide a better experience, the Service Provider may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information. Any information requested will be retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
Third party access
Only aggregated, anonymised data is periodically shared with external services to support the Service Provider in improving the Application and its services. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties as described in this Privacy Policy.
Please note that the Application uses third party services that have their own privacy policies for handling data. The Application may use the following third party service providers:
- Google Play Services
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- OneSignal
- Sentry
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
The Service Provider may disclose user provided and automatically collected information:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process
- when the Service Provider believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request
- to trusted service providers who work on the Service Provider’s behalf, do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set out in this Privacy Policy
- for internal analysis and research purposes by Domestique Cycling and Skoda
Opt-out rights
You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Data retention policy
The Service Provider will retain user provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you would like the Service Provider to delete user provided data you have provided via the Application, please contact team@domestiquecycling.com and the Service Provider will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Security
The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider uses physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information it processes and maintains.
Changes to this privacy policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 1 January 2026.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, now and as amended by the Service Provider.
