Nairo Quintana (born 4 February 1990 in Cómbita, Colombia) is one of the most successful climbers of his generation. He won the Giro d’Italia in 2014 and the Vuelta a España in 2016, and stood on the podium of the Tour de France twice. Quintana is known for his pure climbing ability, particularly at high altitude. After a period away from the sport, he returned to competition in 2024 with Movistar Team, aiming to re-establish himself at the highest level.
