Since 2015, there have been 11 editions of the Vuelta España Femenina, with six different winners. Annemiek van Vleuten have won the most editions with three. 

The Netherlands are the most successful nation with six victories. The 2015-2017 editions were a one-day race, whilst the 2018-2025 editions were multi-stage events.
