Paula Blasi claimed a historic solo victory at the Amstel Gold Race Ladies, becoming the first Spanish rider ever to win the event. She broke away on the penultimate Cauberg climb and held off the chasing favourites with a long-range attack. Kasia Niewiadoma finished second ahead of Demi Vollering, while Blasi secured the biggest win of her career.
