Route
The Bredene Koksijde Classic is built for sprinters, but only when the wind allows it. The race starts in Oostende and heads inland before returning to the coast, where exposed roads can split the peloton. Mid race, the riders tackle the Baneberg twice and both sides of the Kemmelberg, offering a brief chance for attackers.
However, these climbs are rarely decisive due to the long flat run in. The final 100 kilometres are largely straightforward, favouring organised chase work. If crosswinds stay quiet, everything points towards a controlled run in and a bunch sprint in Koksijde.

Favourites
With Tim Merlier out, the sprint field opens up and puts pressure on Alberto Dainese to deliver within a strong Soudal Quick Step setup. Matteo Moschetti is a proven performer in these races and will see this as a key opportunity, while Pavel Bittner needs a result as his team searches for its first win in months. Dylan Groenewegen already showed his speed this season and brings both confidence and experience.
Erlend Blikra has the raw pace to compete, though consistency remains a question. Luca Mozzato offers a different profile, relying on positioning and race sense rather than pure speed. Sente Sentjens could be a breakout name if given freedom at Alpecin. Pascal Ackermann and Juan Sebastián Molano add depth to the field, both capable of winning if the sprint unfolds in their favour.
