Copenhagen Sprint 2025

22.06

The inaugural men’s edition of the Copenhagen Sprint featured a 235km route from Roskilde to Copenhagen. An early breakaway of five riders was kept in check by the peloton, with teams like Visma | Lease a Bike and Red Bull - BORA – Hansgrohe leading the chase. A crash in the final lap took down pre-race favourite Olav Kooij. Jordi Meeus of Belgium claimed victory in the sprint ahead of Alexis Renard and Emilien Jeannière.

What we said about the race on beforehand

The Copenhagen Sprint is a new addition to the WorldTour calendar in 2025, with the one-day race bringing the peloton from Roskilde to the Danish capital Copenhagen. The flat terrain lends itself to the fast men, as the name suggests, and Mads Pedersen will be eager to claim a prestigious victory on home roads.
