About Giro Women 2025 Stage 6 beforehand
Stage 6 returns to classic Giro terrain with 144 km of punchy racing and over 2,400 metres of climbing. The day features four categorised climbs and even crosses briefly into San Marino early on. After a flat start, the road rises steadily before a series of short, sharp climbs dominate the second half. The final 40 km are packed with steep ramps, including Villa del Monte (1 km at 11.1%) and the uphill drag to Terre Roveresche via Mondavio. The final climb is irregular, offering chances for late attacks or even a reduced sprint if any fast finishers survive. With a summit finish looming on stage 7, this could be a key day for breakaways.
