Route
The La Flèche Wallonne 2026 starts in Herstal and finishes on the iconic Mur de Huy. Early climbs in the first 50 km are followed by rolling terrain and a brief passage through Luxembourg.
After 116 km, riders enter a final circuit tackled three times, featuring the Côte d’Ereffe, Côte de Cherave, and the decisive Mur de Huy. With gradients exceeding 20 percent, the final climb is likely to determine the winner, as the strongest climbers launch their efforts in the closing meters.

Favourites
The favourites for La Flèche Wallonne 2026 are built around riders who can handle repeated climbs and still explode on the Mur de Huy.
With Remco Evenepoel no longer on the start list, the race opens up significantly. Mattias Skjelmose looks close to a breakthrough after several near misses, while Benoît Cosnefroy brings consistency and strong recent form.
Behind them, a powerful French wave is emerging. Paul Seixas continues to impress early in his career, and Lenny Martinez has already shown he can handle this finish. Kévin Vauquelin is also hard to ignore after two second place finishes, especially if he arrives fresh for the final climb.
