The Omloop Nieuwsblad is a UCI WorldTour one-day held each February around Flanders in Belgium. Usually it is called the opening race of the Belgian spring season, it features many of the iconic Flemish climbs which are a staple of each spring. First held in 1945, the event is known for its mixed spring conditions, roaring and passionate Belgian fans.
