Mads Pedersen stamped his authority on stage 4 of the Tour of Denmark with a dominant display. After taking bonus seconds in the intermediate sprint, he twice attacked from the peloton, first joining the breakaway before going solo with 30 kilometres to go. Despite late chase efforts, the Lidl-Trek rider held firm to claim a brilliant home victory and extend his overall lead.
