Luxembourg > Fëschmaart (157.5 km)

16.09-20.09
Mathieu van der Poel won the opening stage of the Tour de Luxembourg on his first road race since the Champs Élysées. After attacking on the Côte de Stafelter and later being caught, he still had enough left to respond when Søren Kragh Andersen opened the uphill sprint. Van der Poel powered to victory ahead of Pierre Gautherat and Marijn van den Berg.
