The first big climbing battle. Riders tackle Norton Summit within minutes, visit Mt Lofty and face two brutal ascents of Corkscrew Road. Almost 3,800 metres of climbing will thin the field before a demanding uphill finish in Uraidla. True contenders for ochre will emerge here.
