Route
The race opens on Tuesday with a short 3.1km prologue in Den Haag, where pure speed will decide the early seconds, before Wednesday’s 120km circuit around Ede offers the week’s likeliest sprint finish, weather permitting. Thursday’s 13.6km individual time trial in Tilburg is expected to be decisive, with the flat course potentially creating significant gaps between specialists and sprinters.
Friday’s 110.5km stage from Sittard to Watersley takes the peloton into the Limburg hills, while Saturday’s 144.8km route from Hoogeveen culminates on the steep VAM-berg, offering the best opportunity to claw back time. Sunday concludes with the longest stage, a 149.2km loop starting and finishing in Arnhem, on roads around the Posbank and Veluwezoom.
