1. Tobias Lund Andresen (Decathlon CMA CGM)

Sticking with the Danish rider theme, Tobias Lund Andresen is again, another top favourite for In Flanders Fields, with the main reasoning being his 2026 form. His season began with a bang down under, taking a stage victory down under before going on to win the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, before a solid opening weekend where he finished a respective 6th and 7th.

That early-season form has shown no signs of slowing down as Lund Andresen took victory on a stage at Tirreno-Adriatico against strong sprinting opposition before going on to finish on the cusp of a top 10 in La Primavera with a 6th-place finish in E3.

The E3 performance was perhaps the most impressive as Lund Andresen displayed clear signs of performance, positioning skills, and it was clear how well the team was working for him, even though Decathlon CMA CGM had Stan Dewulf up the road, as Lund Andresen went on to win the sprint in his group.

With it clear that his team will work for him and Lund Andresen displaying his ability to get over steep bergs, for 800 credits we believe that he should be the second leader in your team.

2. Luke Lamperti (EF Education-Easypost)

Another man who has been in form in 2026 is Luke Lamperti, who has enjoyed a fine start to life in EF Education-EasyPost colours. The 23-year-old took his first WorldTour stage victory in Paris-Nice, and that was after two top 10's in the Opening Weekend, which has the potential to correlate come In Flanders Fields.

In his previous two attempts at In Flanders Fields, Lamperti didn't take a result of note when he was in the colours of Soudal Quick-Step, but he was in the support of team leader Tim Merlier.

For 400 credits, Lamperti is a great value pickup for your team as the American brings a real upside in potential value.

3. Christophe Laporte (Visma | Lease a Bike)

Perhaps the best value pick up for In Flanders Fields, and that is Christophe Laporte for just 400 credits! Laporte has precedent in this race, winning in 2023 after superb teamwork between himself and Wout van Aert after the pair went clear. Laporte has started the 2026 season well, taking a few high-place finishes, including a 4th in Omloop and a 7th in E3.

Laporte will also benefit from the eyes and attention on Wout van Aert, so the Frenchman is going to be able to swoop under the radar, especially if a small to significant group is competing for the victory come the finish in Wevelgem simply because there are still questions marks regarding Wout van Aert's sprint after his horrific knee injury he suffered in the 2024 Vuelta a Espana.

4. Jordi Meeus (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe)

Jordi Meeus has taken a step up in 2026, that is for certain. The 27-year-old Belgian has cemented himself as a real competitor in the classics for Red Bull. Meeus finished within the top ten of both races in the opening weekend and then went on to take a victory at the Ename Samyn Classic before finishing second behind a solo Alec Segeart in the Grand Prix Denain.

Meeus has taken top 10's and even a top 3 in In Flanders Fields, with a top ten in 2025 and a 3rd place in 2024, so can Meeus go one better in 2026? There is real potential for that.

Meeus costs 600 credits and with the team that Red Bull is also bringing to the table, one would assume that the team is ready to set up Meeus.

5. Hugo Hofstetter (NSN)

Hugo Hofstetter costs just 200 credits and there is every reason why you should choose the Frenchman. In 2025, Hofstetter took 5th, and in 2026, the 32-year-old has been performing well for NSN.

In his block of racing in Belgium, Hofstetter has been on the cusp of a few top ten places as well as taking a third at the Ename Samyn Classic. Hofstetter should benefit as well if he gets over the Kemmelberg in a good position, as there are still question marks surrounding the former winner of this race, Biniam Girmay's 2026 form.

For just 200 credits, it's an almost certain upside for Hofstetter, who will be a great rider within the latter places within your Cycling Fantasy team.
