The full schedule for the 2025 UEC Road European Championships

The 2025 UEC Road European championships in Drôme Ardèche, France, kick off on Wednesday, 1 October, with a plethora of time trials and road races to decide who will wear the European jerseys for the next year. With stars like Tadej Pogačar, Remco Evenepoel, Jonas Vingegaard, Demi Vollering and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot on the start line, this edition carries a prestige unlike any before. Here is all you need to know about the schedule ahead.

When are the 2025 UEC road European championships?

The action kicks off on Wednesday, 1 October, with the individual time trials, with the junior women to be the first off the ramp, beginning at 09:30 (all times in CET) on a 12.2km route. The remaining categories will all complete a 24km course with the junior men next to start at 10:45. 

The under-23 (U23) categories are next, with the women at 12:00 and the men at 12:45. Finally, the elite categories will round out the opening day of action, with the first woman setting off at 14:20 and the first man at 15:45.

Thursday, 2 October, will see the team time trial mixed relay events take centre stage, with both the junior and elite categories completing two laps of a 20km course. First will be the junior relay, with the action set to begin at 11:00, while the elite relay begins at 14:00.

The road races begin on Friday, 3 October, with the U23 women taking on an 85.7km course, starting at 09:00. The junior road races round out Friday's action with the women's 62.9km race beginning at 12:40 and the men's 103.4km at 15:35.

Saturday 4, October is the penultimate day of racing with two events. First, the U23 men's race over 121.1km at 09:00, followed by the 111.6km elite women's road race.

Finally, Sunday, 5 October rounds out the European championships with the elite men's road race, a 202.2km route beginning at 11:45.
