The 2026 Giro d'Italia heads to Naples on Thursday, with stage 6 between Paestum and the southern Italian city the most straightforward day of the first week so far. The 141km route hugs the Tyrrhenian coast before looping around the upper slopes of Vesuvius and entering Naples from the east, with the only real obstacle a 2km climb at 6.2% in the Fuorigrotta district inside the final 10km. The fifth consecutive year the Giro has finished in Naples, with the last three editions all settled in bunch sprints, suggests another fast finish is the likeliest outcome. Stage 6 is set to roll out at 14:05 CET.
