The eighth stage of the 2026 Tour de France stays in the Dordogne on Saturday, with the 180.4km flat stage from Périgueux to Bergerac. The peloton passes through Montignac-Lascaux, Sarlat-la-Canéda and the Dordogne wine country, with the Côte de Domme (3.6km at 3.3%) and the Côte du Buisson-de-Cadouin (2.9km at 4.3%) the only categorised climbs of the day, both cresting inside the final 60km. Bergerac last hosted a Tour finish in 2017 when Marcel Kittel took the sprint. Tim Merlier (Soudal Quick-Step), Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Premier Tech), Olav Kooij (Decathlon CMA CGM) and Biniam Girmay are among the fast finishers likely to fight for the win. Stage 8 is set to get underway at 13:25 CEST and will finish at around 17:20 CEST. Follow it live on Domestique.
