2025 Tour de France: Full startlist
The 2025 Tour de France starts in Lille on July 5 and finishes in Paris on July 27 with 23 teams and 184 riders. Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) lines up as the defending champion and favourite, with Jonas Vingegaard (Visma | Lease a Bike) and Remco Evenepoel (Soudal-QuickStep) among his chief rivals. There are 23 teams taking part in the 2025 Tour de France. All 18 UCI WorldTour teams are present, joined by five additional squads. Lotto and Israel Premier Tech earned selection by way of the UCI rankings, while TotalEnergies, Uno-X Mobility, Israel Premier Tech and Tudor received wildcard invitations.
Each team sets out with eight riders, bringing the startlist for the Tour de France to 184 riders. 2024 TDF champion Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) has the honour of wearing number 1.
