2026 La Flèche Wallonne start list - Vive le France?
The 2026 edition of La Flèche Wallonne takes place on Wednesday, April 22. Defending champion Tadej Pogačar will not start, while Remco Evenepoel also skips the race to focus on Liège–Bastogne–Liège. With Tom Pidcock and Matteo Jorgenson also absent, the race is shaping up to be a largely French affair.

A total of 25 teams feature on the provisional start list, each fielding seven riders, bringing the peloton to 175 riders.
All 18 UCI WorldTeams are set to start, alongside seven UCI ProTeams: Caja Rural Seguros RGA, Cofidis, Pinarello-Q36.5, Team Flanders Baloise, TotalEnergies, Tudor Pro Cycling Team and Unibet Rose Rockets.
France provides the strongest representation, with Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM), Romain Grégoire (Groupama-FDJ United), Lenny Martinez (Bahrain Victorious) and Benoît Cosnefroy (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) all lining up, although Mattias Skjelmose (Lidl-Trek) should not be overlooked.
