2026 Le Samyn start list - All eyes on Visma | Lease a Bike
Le Samyn takes place on Tuesday, March 3, beginning in Quaregnon and finishing in Dour.
In total, 25 teams, each fielding 7 riders, will take to the start list, resulting in a total peloton of 175 riders.
9 of the 18 UCI WorldTeams will line up at the start, joined by 5 ProTeams and 11 Continental teams.
Defending champion Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Premier Tech) will not be on the start line, but his long time rival Wout van Aert (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) will. He is backed by his strong teammate Per Strand Hagenes.
Other riders to watch include Jordi Meeus, Gianni Vermeersch and Arne Marit of Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe, Matevž Govekar (Bahrain Victorious), Tomáš Kopecký (Unibet Tietema Rockets) and Milan Menten (Lotto).
