One of the major storylines ahead of La Doyenne is the debut of Paul Seixas, and Decathlon CMA CGM have named the team that will support the 19-year-old.

Decathlon CMA CGM have named their squad for Liège-Bastogne-Liège, which is headlined by teenage prodigy Paul Seixas.

Seixas comes into La Doyenne off the back of becoming the youngest winner of La Flèche Wallonne on Wednesday after he powered clear from the competition at the top of the Mur de Huy.

Despite having ridden just one Monument previously, Il Lombardia in 2025, where he finished 7th, Seixas’ stellar 2026 season has propelled him into contention alongside three-time champion Tadej Pogačar and two-time champion Remco Evenepoel.

He will be backed by a strong Decathlon squad that includes Paul Lapeira, Jordan Labrosse, Léo Bisiaux, Stan Dewulf, Antoine L’Hote, and Nicolas Prodhomme.

Former French champion Lapeira finished 11th at Liège in 2024, the same season in which Seixas won the junior race, underlining the rapid rise of the 19-year-old.

Since stepping up to the professional ranks, no teammate has ridden with Seixas more than the 25 race days that Labrosse has. Labrosse will ride La Doyenne for the second time in his career, with an 11th place at Strade Bianche being his highlight result.

L’Hote will make his Monument debut and the 20-year-old Frenchman is in good form having won a stage and the GC at the Région Pays de la Loire Tour at the start of April.

Dewulf lines up for his third Monument of the season, having ridden in Flanders and Roubaix, while Bisiaux will ride in Liège for the first time as a professional, and recently finished 15th at Flèche.

There is one change from Wednesday’s line-up at La Flèche Wallonne with Prodhomme replacing Noa Isidore. Prodhomme shared a special moment with Seixas at the Tour of the Alps in 2025, when the duo finished 1st and 2nd on the final stage.
