From crypto to digital banking: Canyon//Sram announce Scalable Capital as new title sponsor
The new partnership runs through 2027 and 2028, with the team set to race as Canyon//Sram Scalable Capital, while the development team will ride under the name Canyon//Sram Scalable Capital Generation.

Canyon//Sram has secured a new title sponsor ahead of the 2027 season, with the arrival of European digital bank Scalable Capital, months after the German team's split with cryptocurrency company Zondacrypto.
Scalable Capital’s partnership with Canyon//Sram started at the Tour de France in August when the company’s logo featured on the riders' helmets and team vehicles at the Grand Départ in Lausanne.
“From the very beginning, we recognised that Scalable Capital shared our ambitions and our belief in the future of women’s cycling," Canyon//Sram's Head of Business Jonas Möslein said in an official statement.
"The decision to move to a title partnership for 2027 and 2028 is a strong vote of confidence for the team, the sport, and the progress that we’re making together."
“We’re excited to build on the foundations laid this year and create impact well beyond results on the road. Ultimately, it’s about inspiring more women to get involved in cycling and empowering them to take control of their own futures.”
Founded in 2014 and led by Erik Podzuweit and Florian Prucker, Scalable Capital states that more than one million clients already have a total of more than €50 billion on the platform.
“Nobody wins on the bike overnight, and nobody builds long-term wealth by accident. Both take stamina, consistency, and pushing through tough stages,” said Maximilian Meyer, Chief Marketing Officer of Scalable Capital.
“Teaming up with Canyon//Sram is about breaking down barriers and driving accessibility, in sport and in finance. By backing these world-class female athletes, we want to inspire more women to take their own financial journey into their own hands.”
The arrival of the new title sponsor follows the team’s split from Zondacrypto in May. The split came amid growing scrutiny of the cryptocurrency company’s financial and legal situation in Poland, although Zondacrypto denied any wrongdoing.
Ahead of the 2027 season, the German team is also undergoing a significant transformation with the notable departure of Kasia Niewiadoma-Phinney to Lidl-Trek after nine seasons with the team.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Canyon confirmed the arrival of Lucinda Brand on a contract running until after Paris-Roubaix in 2028, where the Dutchwoman plans to retire.
