Paul Magnier storms to victory on stage 4 of Tour de Pologne
The Frenchman was unstoppable in the uphill drag to the line in Cieszyn.

Paul Magnier (Soudal-QuickStep) sprinted to victory on stage 4 of the Tour de Pologne on a technical circuit in Cieszyn ahead of Ben Turner (Ineos Grenadiers) and Tim Torn Teutenberg (Lidl-Trek).
It was a day that was destined for a sprint, and after finishing second on the opening stage in Legnica behind Olav Kooij (Visma | Lease a Bike), Magnier delivered a powerful sprint in the uphill drag to the finish line, to go one place better than on stage 1.
The peloton made the late catch of Filip Maciejuk (Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe) and Lorenzo Milesi (Movistar) with 2.5km remaining on a technical finishing circuit, which featured cobbles, but in the uphill drag to the line, Magnier finished significantly ahead of the rest to claim his tenth professional victory.
The race leader, Paul Lapeira (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale), who was nursing wounds from a crash on stage 3, finished safely inside the peloton in 17th to keep hold of the yellow jersey.
