Tour de France 2026 standings: Pogacar maintains a comfortable lead after the time trial
Remco Evenepoel dominated the Stage 16 time trial at the Tour de France, but Tadej Pogacar remains in the overall lead with a commanding advantage.

Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) leads Remco Evenepoel in second (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) by 4:32 with Isaac del Toro (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) in third at 6:51.
Mads Pedersen of Lidl-Trek remains in the green jersey, with a crucial day ahead tomorrow. Pedersen leads the points classification with 417 points, followed by Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin Premier-Tech) on 386 and Biniam Girmay of (NSN) on 361.
Pogačar also continues to lead the mountains classification. Pogacar has 67 points, with Paret-Peintre in second on 45, while Carapaz is third on 39.
The battle for the young rider classification remains incredibly close. Isaac del Toro and Paul Seixas of Decathlon CMA CGM both produced strong time trials, with the Frenchman gaining five seconds on the Mexican in the overall standings. The gap is now just 20 seconds.
