The flurry of summer transfers continues apace with Tudor Pro Cycling announcing the arrival of Stefan Küng on a three-year deal.

The Swiss time trial ace heads to the team managed by former World and Olympic champion in the discipline, Fabian Cancellara, where he will give the squad’s classics outfit a significant boost.

Known as one of the world’s best time trialists, Küng has become increasingly versatile during his time with Groupama-FDJ, lasting well on the climbs and remaining ever-present in the classics. Though he is yet to make a major breakthrough in the spring, this year alone is an indication of his classics potential, the 31-year-old finishing in the top 10 at the E3 Saxo Classic, Dwars door Vlaanderen and the Ronde van Vlaanderen.

“As a Swiss rider, I’ve followed the Tudor project closely and been genuinely impressed by its mentality and development,” said Küng in a team statement. “Innovation and R&D are clearly central to the team, and I believe that environment can push me to the next level, especially on the time trial bike.

“A big classic is still missing from my palmarès, and that’s something I really want to score.”

The team also announced the arrival of Italian Luca Mozzato, who has signed for three seasons. A fast-finishing classics rider, 27-year-old Mozzato has wins at the Bredene-Koksijde Classic and Binche-Chimay-Binche to his name and will be another key rider for the classics.

“I like the way the team has grown, not just in structure, but in how they race,” Mozzato said. “This feels like the biggest opportunity of my career to become the best rider I can be. I want to win, but I also want to be a key part of the team’s success.”

The team also announced a two-year deal for Swiss climber Robin Donzé, who graduates to the team from the development squad.

“We’re excited to strengthen our roster with added power and depth, and proud to welcome another Devo rider into the pro ranks,” said Cancellara. “It’s a testament to the outstanding work our development team continues to do in scouting, coaching, and nurturing young talent. Robin has been part of our program since 2022, and we’re confident he’ll be a valuable asset in supporting our climbers as of next season."
