Worlds 2032 candidates India and Netherlands reportedly both awarded World Championships
India and the Netherlands, the two candidates bidding to host the 2032 UCI Road World Championships, are reportedly both set to be awarded a future edition of the event.

The UCI is expected to announce the hosts of around twenty future World Championships across its disciplines during its annual management committee meeting in Montréal on Wednesday.
According to Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws, the battle for the 2032 Road World Championships has resulted in an outcome that appears to satisfy both bids.
The report follows earlier information from The Athletic, which stated last week that India had emerged as the clear frontrunner for 2032. Citing multiple sources familiar with the process, the publication reported that UCI president David Lappartient was expected to recommend the Indian bid to the other members of the governing body's management committee.
India is now expected to be awarded the 2032 edition, with Pune set to become the first Indian city to host the Road World Championships.
The Dutch regions of Groningen and Drenthe, which had also been bidding for 2032, are reportedly set to receive the Road World Championships two years later, in 2034, after their bid is said to have made a strong impression on the UCI despite missing out on its preferred year.
Pune, located in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, has meanwhile been developing its presence in international cycling. A new stage race was held in the region earlier this year and reportedly attracted strong spectator numbers.
Due to the climate in Pune, the 2032 World Championships could take place in mid-October rather than in the traditional September period.
If confirmed, the two allocations would add India and the Netherlands to a Road World Championships calendar that is already largely mapped out for the coming years. Haute Savoie hosts in 2027, followed by Abu Dhabi in 2028, Copenhagen in 2029, Brussels in 2030 and Trentino in 2031.
The UCI has yet to officially confirm the reported decisions.
